Mental Health
A first conversation is often the hardest part. It does not have to happen in a waiting room.
Mental health concerns are among the most common reasons people avoid seeking care, and the practical barriers - travel, time, being seen walking in - make it worse. A remote consultation removes most of them.
A consultation covers assessment and a discussion of what would help. That may be management by the doctor, referral to a psychologist in the network, or referral to a psychiatrist where that is indicated.
If you are in crisis or at risk of harming yourself, this is not the right channel. Go to your nearest emergency department or contact emergency services immediately.
All services are subject to appropriate clinical assessment, professional scope of practice and clinical suitability.
